Liane Curtis
Liane works as a staff attorney on the “Pure
Farms, Pure Waters” project, a campaign
devoted to addressing water quality problems
associated with large scale, industrial
production of livestock and other agricultural
products. By challenging state permits and
working up cases against individual facilities,
Liane focuses her efforts on addressing the
problems associated with chicken CAFOs in the
Chesapeake.
A native Montrealer, Liane
holds a bachelor degree in English from
Bishop’s University, a graduate degree in
Communications from McGill University, and is a
graduate of the McGill University Faculty of
Law. She lives in New York City with her
husband Jamie and their four bikes.
