Field Coordinator, Stephanie, and the Cook
Inletkeeper Bob Shavelson, went to China last
week to meet with the Middle Han Waterkeeper.
"After leaving Beijing, Bob and I spent two exciting days in Xiangfan trying to keep up with our powerhouse of a Waterkeeper in central China’s Hubei Province, Middle Han Waterkeeper, Yun Jianli. Though we didn’t attend a 1000 person river cleanup this year, we did tour the Han River with an enthusiastic crowd of volunteers, and rode all the way to the Cuijiaying Hinge Dam."
