Recent Accomplishments

--Successfully challenged EPA's approval of 15 TMDLs that were not in daily terms as required by the Clean Water Act
--Successfully advocated for the passage of the Anacostia River Cleanup and Protection Act of 2009 which puts a five cent per user fee on paper and plastic bags at grocery and convenience stores in an effort to reduce the number of bags that end up in the river.
-- Recent and ongoing legal action in the District of Columbia over contaminated sites, including National Park lands.
