Recent Accomplishments

--After seven years of negotiations, attained Presidential declaration of Bahia de los Angeles as a Biosphere area that will protect 938,600 acres of critical habitat for marine species including whale sharks.
--Published: "Bahía de los Ángeles: Natural Resources and Community: Baseline data 2007.
--Preparing the management plan for the main fisheries in the region and for the Biosphere area itself.
