--Presented first action class suit against the city of Cartagena and the trash collection agency for improper and insufficient solid waste management.
--Coordinating 2nd Symposium on Maritime Law, Pollution and Sustainable Development in Latin American Ports and Coasts.
--Will host first Latin American Waterkeeper regional meeting to be held in South America in Sept. 2009.
