--Campaigned to persuade the Portland City Council to approve a $61 million bond to speed up the City’s removal of combined sewer overflows, to reduce discharge of 1.8 billion gallons of combined raw sewage and rainwater runoff annually.
--Engineered first No Discharge Area nomination in Maine for Casco Bay; now most of Maine coast has applied to EPA for federal designation where no vessel sewage may be released.
