Recent Accomplishments

--In 2007 Hann Baykeeper turned the heat to the local government to conduct all necessary repairs and re-open the waste water treatment center near the bay of Hann. Today over 60% of the urban wastewater is been treated before entering the bay waters
--Help coordinate the biggest clean-up event of the nation history. In February, 2007 Hann Baykeeper help recruit over 700 volunteers to participate in the “Journée de la Baie”
--A month ago, the newly elected mayor of the city came to visit Hann Baykeeper offices the next day after he won the elections. He stated that our environmental program for the Bay of Hann will be the corner stone of his political strategy.
