Recent Accomplishments

--Partners with three other eastern North Carolina Riverkeepers and Waterkeeper Alliance in the Pure Farms, Pure Waters Campaign to fight CAFO pollution.
--Led statewide campaign to fight a proposal to overturn longstanding groundwater protection laws and allow injection of reclaimed water into drinking water aquifers.
--Successfully advocated for a criminal investigation into negligence at a failed, privately-owned wastewater treatment plant.
