Recent Accomplishments

-Successfully pushed for EPA to follow the law by revising an inadequate phosphorous Total Maximum Daily Load pollution budget
-Fought for a new approach to the poorly managed and designed circumferential highway project, which, as proposed, would have resulted in massive damage to wetlands in Vermont’s Chittenden County and expanded suburban sprawl.
-Worked towards more effective permitting and enforcement of pollution controls on polluted runoff from parking lots, streets, large agricultural operations, and sewage treatment plants.
-Assisted legislators in crafting and advancing reform measures guaranteeing citizens their right to participate in environmental enforcement cases brought by the state of Vermont.
