Annual Conference 1999- Southampton

Held at Southampton College of Long Island University, This inaugural conference was co-hosted by Peconic Baykeeper with 35 Waterkeeper programs in attendance.  Programming included Waterkeeper orientation, Clean Water Act litigation, fundraising strategies and media relations.  A highlight of the conference was joining Billy Joel aboard his boat for a cruise of the beautiful Peconic Bay.
