Waterkeeper Alliance works to secure
on-the-ground implementation and enforcement of
environmental laws, including the Clean Water
Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
(RCRA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the
Comprehensive Environmental Response,
Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and
the Emergency Planning and Community Right to
Know Act (EPCRA).
At the federal level, to
meet our goals of ensuring optimum
implementation and enforcement of environmental
laws, Waterkeeper Alliance focuses our
administrative efforts in three main areas:
