Thursday, July 15, 2010

Meet Sandy Bihn, Western Lake Erie Waterkeeper! In this video interview by The Erie Wire, Sandy discusses some of the most urgent environmental issues facing Lake Erie today, including nutrient pollution that causes dangerous algae blooms and hot-water discharges from a local energy plant that result in massive fish kills. As one of our Great Lakes Region organizations, Sandy’s Western Lake Erie Waterkeeper Association will be one of the hosts for Waterkeeper Alliance’s 2011 Conference and Annual Meeting next June.
